Thornton Learning Center (TLC) is a licensed child care center
located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Our neighborhood
has a park and a fire station within walking distance of the
center. We are located off of Washington Street, convenient
to I-25, North Denver, Thornton, Northglenn & Brighton. 
We provide bus pick up & drop off to several area schools.

Our small-group environment is very hands-on and nurturing.
Your child will receive lots of one-on-one attention. We spend
our days doing art, music, reading, ABCs, puzzles, counting, and
lots of imaginative play. We have a daily preschool program with a
new theme every week! We also spend time outside on our two large
playgrounds each day. We focus on working well together, sharing, and
treating each other with respect. We believe that children learn what
they live and that they should be treated with kindness and dignity.

All teachers are CPR, First Aid, Medication
Administration and Universal Precautions certified.

As a member of a government funded food program, we provide
nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks with lots of variety, and 
serve whole-grain & organic when possible. We make fresh,
tasty, homemade meals that are served family-style at the
table. We believe that good nutrition in early childhood is
a cornerstone to building life-long healthy eating habits.
